Business Trip
I’m going away for a week on business. That means a couple of things. First, I won’t be posting any updates for a week. Second, I’ll have lots of free time to write more of story two! (Go here to read book one.) That’s if I can get myself past the time difference and standing all day at a conference booth. And, since I’ll be in Vegas, I’ll have to pull myself away from the all-you-can-eat buffets… I’m six foot tall and only like 150 pounds when I’m wet and wearing a parka, but I can pack in the food like you wouldn’t believe—especially when it’s all you can eat! (The trick is to take small amounts of EVERYTHING.) No worry about gambling, though, because I just don’t understand why anyone would want to throw away money.
Anyway, got a two new positive reviews:
From L.j Smith:I could probably rant on for a little while longer, but I won’t. Thanks to everyone who gives me positive encouragement. I really appreciate it. I hope you’ll like the second story once it starts up in JUNE.
very good. you should get this published. work on book two - i am dying to read it.
[Thanks! My wife wants me to publish it as an ebook. I’ve been looking to vanity press it (publish it myself), but that’ll cost between $500 and $1,000. Sure, I could drop the cash, but I’m hesitant since I’ve got a 1-year-old running around who grows out of clothing every two days. That said, Book Two starts in June so make sure you come back to read it. And, while your at it, sign up for the email alert I’ve got going and I’ll tell you when to come back.]
From VampiressFilth:
Interesting story... I like the idea of a vampire taking care of a child.
[I thought it was a nice twist. But don't be fooled, there is more to this little girl and her relationship with Sabastian than the first book lets on... That's why you should come back and read the second book!]
