Almost There...

We’re getting closer. I keep writing on my lunch a few days a week and on the train when I can. Right now, my wife is starting a new job that has resulted in her commuting into the city with me. So she and I have to figure out how to do that and still allow us each “alone” time in transit—time I would normally use to write. So, I’m figuring that I’ll be slow for a while. But I have plenty of backlog (about three month’s worth) so I’m not worried. In the meantime, here are some nice reader reviews:

From j.m. long after one of my news posts:

Hey I was hoping maybe you had it done but you don’t :( hurry up lol I’ve read a bunch of stories and I really like this one...very good!

[Thanks, I’ll start posting June 2nd. I hope you can wait! I’ll be posting two times a week after that—I hope. The goal is every Tuesday and Thursday.]

From kayleigh:

Loving the story please hurry with the second book I’m dying to read it!

[Well, you only have to stay alive another week! Thanks for the kind words and I hope you like the second book as much as the first.]

From an Anonymous reader:

The story is awesome and I only read the first chapter. You should have it publish.

[Thanks, though I hope you meant the first “book,” as the first chapter is only a few paragraphs long. I’d like to think I’m a good writer, but no one deserves that kind of praise for a few paragraphs. As for getting it published, I’ve thought about vanity pressing it, that is publishing it myself. Too much effort to try and get it done through a regular publisher. But, right now, I don’t have the time or money—my one-year old comes way before this story.]

That’s all for now. The last two weeks were hectic with travel for work, but I hope I can get my life back in order now and prepare myself for posting the next book!

Thanks,
Gregg
