Still Working on the Story

I’m still working on the next story. I think I have enough text for three months. That should give me enough leeway to skip a week here and there and not feel too bad about it. (Like this week when my daughter was sick and I had to stay home with her for a few days.)

I’m trying to think of a way to leave comments on individual posts without balling up the running story. I think I’m just going to comment on my posts if I have anything to say. Seems cheesy, but I don’t know how else to do it without starting another blog—which I don’t want to do. It’s going to be hard enough to get people to this blog to read it let alone ask them to read another one.

That said, I’ve gotten some new feedback from some readers. Here they are:

-----
From Bill Dillard:
This was a wonderful story. One of the best I have read. Are you planning on
expanding it any more?

(Yes, I’m working on the next “book” now!)

From Miki:
it is so thrilling to find a story that is more than just gory vampire, but mystery also. Please up date as soon as possible i want more.
and
Beautiful can't wait to see if she grows up and what else my come of this.

(You’ll find out starting in June, please come back and read the next book!)

From Anonymous:
This is a wonderful story. It catches the essence of the few Vampires that are left. It was off on a few details, but all and all I give it my praise.

(Thank you! I’m glad you liked it.)

From Keoko:
Wow! This is a wonderful story. I was wondering if I could draw it, or at least a few characters. Please get back to me. ^_^

(Thank you, and YES! I would love to turn this into a web comic, so I would love to see some artwork based on the story. I'll even post your fan art in a new section so everyone can admire it.)
-----

I love to get feedback, particularly when it’s positive. (You can read all of the feedback in the Reader Reviews! section if you want more opinions on my work.) Feedback helps to keep my interest in the story. Hey, even someone egotistical enough to thing anyone would care about his silly vampire story gets down once in a while. And everyone who has ever left me a positive review has lifted my spirits immensely. Thank you all!

That’s the update for now. But keep your eyes open for June!
